Proposals and Northern Lights Tours in the Arctic

The Hilltop Yurt is located about three kilometers from the nearest road – the perfect place for a proposal or a private Northern Lights tour. The Hilltop Yurt can be reserved for 3–5 hours, with overnight stays available upon request.

Enjoy the Moment in a Forest Landscape

The yurt is set on a wooden platform on the hillside and can be reached by ATV, snowmobile, hiking, or skiing. It is beautifully and cozily decorated, and stays warm even in the harshest winter frost. The yurt offers the perfect place to pause, enjoy life, and live in the moment.

You can book a traditional wood-heated sauna by the river, located about 3.5 km from the Hilltop Yurt. The nearest washing facilities are also by the river, where you can use the showers free of charge.

Outside the yurt, you’ll find an outdoor toilet and a campfire spot. Mobile phone coverage and wireless Wi-Fi are available in the area.

What Makes Us Different from Other Hosts?

We are a small and personal company. Our yurts represent luxury camping at its best; you can feel surrounded by Lapland’s nature while lying in our comfortable beds or relaxing in the armchairs. Our five riverside yurts can accommodate a total of 10–15 people, so you won’t find mass tourism here. And if you wish to get even closer to nature in complete privacy, you can stay in our hillside yurt, located all by itself in the midst of Lapland’s fells. The hillside yurt is best suited for two people.

Because we are a small company, we can provide more personal service and ensure that every guest’s visit becomes an unforgettable experience.

All of our yurts are handmade in Mongolia. The traditional yurt of Mongolian nomads is a highly durable, long-lasting, and beautiful structure – and even today, more than half of Mongolians live in yurts year-round. A yurt stays warm during harsh winter frosts and comfortably cool in the heat of summer.

Each of our yurts has a diameter of about six meters and a standing height of around two meters. They are all crafted in Mongolia’s capital, Ulaanbaatar, with their quality ensured by an original nomad from the Gobi Desert.

In the yurt, you will feel as though you are in the middle of nature – like in a tent, but instead of camping, you’ll be staying in luxury. Our luxury yurts are furnished and decorated in a cozy, stylish way. Each yurt has its own unique interior design and style.
